Ivory dinner jackets are not easy. As anyone who knows anything about weddings will tell you, there is not simply just one "off-white" shade to choose from. Unfortunately, generally speaking, the groom is rarely one of those people in the know. To cap it off, we're often working blind as the bride keeps her dress a secret til the last moment.
Luckily for Nate, Caterina was there to help him choose the perfect shade of ivory for his shawl lapel dinner jacket. What makes it a complicated decision is considering how the groom's jacket will look next to the bridal gown. Too white, and it makes the bride's dress (which, for anyone who knows anything, is the main event) look dull. Too dim, too creamy, or the wrong temperature in the tone makes it stand out unpleasantly.
Judging by the splendid images of an impeccably styled wedding, this was definitely not the case with Nate's wedding suit. The warm-toned ivory carefully selected during their complementary wedding consultation blended beautifully with the soft creamy ivory of Caterina's splendid lace ball gown. A perfect fit, just like the newlyweds.
